Click to clear the Document Properties and Personal Information check box. From the menu ribbon, click on the Home tab located to the right of the File tab. Click the Microsoft Office Button, point to Prepare Document, and then click Inspect Document. The link now looks like the rest of the document and is not underlined. To select all text, press CTRL + A anywhere on the document. From the menu, select ‘Remove Hyperlink.’.
To only remove numbers (including subscripts or superscripts) that are enclosed in characters such as the various types of brackets: parentheses (1), curly by entering them in the Find what box and leaving the Replace with box empty.
